PoE 18W Power Injector, also called a Power over Ethernet mid-span device, is a simple and flexible power supply solution. A single port PoE injector has two RJ45 ports: one Ethernet input for connecting to a switch or network device, and one PoE output that supplies both power and data through a single Ethernet cable. It provides an economical and high performance way to deliver power and data over one Cat5 cable, making installation easy and cost-effective. PoE injectors are especially useful for powering devices such as HD webcams in areas where separate electrical wiring is difficult or impractical.
