Junior Marketplace Manager

Philex is looking to recruit a Junior Marketplace Manager for its E-Commerce Department, primarily supplying to Amazon UK, Europe and USA. The successful candidate will support the E-Commerce/Amazon department in the creation and management of Product Listings and Sponsored Campaigns, primarily through the Seller and Vendor portals.

  • Assist in the management and maintenance of online product portfolio on e-commerce platforms (in particular Amazon Seller and Vendor Central platforms)
  • Assist in the general management of products, data, images and information online.
  • Generation of keyword and search term reports.
  • Creation and analysis of sales and advertising data.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of all current product listings
  • Data analysis of listings data and amazon platform to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Keyword and Search Term harvesting.
  • New product creation, updating product specifications and images.
  • Assist in the smooth order process, communicating with Supply Chain and Customer Service teams and chasing up on projects/outstanding matters etc.
  • Resolving issues with Seller and Vendor Accounts.

Key Competencies/Skill Requirements:
  • Preferably have some previous experience of Amazon listing creation & optimisation in relation to SEO, readability, traffic and conversion.
  • Must be computer literate, especially in Microsoft Excel.
  • Good communication, both verbal and written.
  • Highly numerate with the ability to work with, and draw conclusions from data.
  • Must be able to deal well with pressure and work to deadlines.

This is a hybrid position with remote working, but at least two days per week must be spent in the head office in Bedford.

National Account Manager
Bedford Full Time

Philex is looking for an energetic, driven, and intelligent account manager to expand our existing Sales Department to drive our business with national retailers. Your job is to create and execute the strategy with these national accounts that increases sales and margin:

  • Manage large retail accounts consisting of big national retailers.
  • Building strong, strategic relationships that help drive rapid growth.
  • Negotiate pricing, retail price analysis, maintain margin expectations.
  • Protecting current relationships and contracts

  • Minimum 3 years B2B sales experience preferably with national retailers.
  • Experience in DIY and/or distribution of brands would be a plus.
  • Excellent commercial, negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
  • Empathetic with an ability to appreciate what our suppliers and customers want
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills.
  • Strong computer skills (Excel and PowerPoint) are essential.
  • Hybrid role with minimum 3 days per week office based
